About Exam (AIEEE 2011)
All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Entrance Examinations (AIEEE 2011) is an entrance examination for admission in engineering/architecture bachelor courses throughout most of the engineering/architecture institutes across the country. Admission in all the National Institute of Technology (NITs) as well as most of the state level institutes and private institutes happens through AIEEE 2011.Therefore AIEEE 2011 is the most popular Engineering Entrance examination for BE/BTech aspiring students across the country.
AIEEE 2011 is considered to be highly competitive exam for those aspiring to get admission in NITs or other top colleges. Therefore students start preparing for it much before the actual entrance examination. AIEEE is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) therefore the syllabus of AIEEE 2011 is from CBSE class 11th and 12th syllabus.
Counselling, Seat Allocation, Document Verification and Admissions
- Final list of institutions admitting students (with intake in each discipline and category as per reservation) through AIEEE-2011 including counselling procedure, counselling schedule and counselling centres would be displayed on the CCB website in May/June 2011. The decision for the above will be taken by the CCB.
- Candidates shall regularly visit http://www.ccb.nic.in for the CCB , schedule and further details.The counselling will be made on line off campus and depending upon the requirement and facilities or as decided by Central Councelling Board.
- Verification of documents would be done at the time of counselling/admission. The purpose would be to verify different records regarding identification, age, qualifying examination, state of eligibility and category of the candidate. On failing to establish of any of the documents, the candidates will not be considered for admission.
- SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates will be required to produce original certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.
All correspondence regarding counselling and refund of the amount paid to the Central Counselling Board (CCB) or any of the participating institution should be made with the concerned authorities. No Correspondence in this regard be made to CBSE.
